PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain an excellent protective property against external pressure to eliminate troubles in transportation and storage and obtain good operability in packing operation by wrapping the surface of a drum with a packing material after the whole of the drum is enveloped with a moisture-proof sheet, applying patches to both end faces of the drum, and fixing the end parts of the packing material on the surface of the drum and both butt end faces with tapes. CONSTITUTION:After the whole of a roll drum 6 of pressure sensitive copying paper taken-up round a core 5 is enveloped with a moisture-proof sheet 3, the surface of the drum is doubly wrapped with a packing material made up by sticking a single faced corrugated board 1 to a foam polyethylene sheet 2, the end part of the packing material is fixed with a tape 7, and both butt end faces of the drum are applied respectively with a tape 4, and the end parts of the patches are fixed respectively with a tape 8. A packed body of roll drum 6 of pressure sensitive copying paper having good prospective property and operability can thus be obtained. Further, since only one type of packing material is used for packing the surface of the drum, the packing operation can be excellently automated with less equipment, lower cost, less space with respect to a packer and other respects. |
