PURPOSE:To perform processing for an optimization problem efficiently by adding a property code which indicates the property of the problem in problem definition information which defines the optimization problem. CONSTITUTION:In the problem definition information 6a which defines the optimization problem to be supplied to a computation processor 4, the property code 6b which indicates the problem of the problem is added as part of a word indicating the properties of a target function and restriction condition. Then the computation processor 4 decides this property code 6b to select a specific method of solution, by which the optimization problem is solved. Consequently, a person who defines the problem can be inform the computation processor which solves the optimization problem of the property of the optimization problem finely and easily and the computation processor 4 processes the optimization problem efficiently by this information. |
