<p>The invention relates to a mounting structure for mounting a printed circuit member (12) on a panel (10) incorporating electrical conductors, including a coupling member (32) for mounting the printed circuit member (12) on the panel (10). Connector means (18,22,26) is also provided for mounting further printed circuit members (12) on the panel (10). The coupling member (32) includes a first body portion (34) electrically coupled to its associated printed circuit member (12) and a second body portion (36) electrically coupled to the panel (10). Each of the first and second body portions (36) has a plurality of coupling pins (P1,P2,P3) arranged in a plurality of mutually corresponding rows in respective first and second sets of planes which are interleaved so that corresponding rows of coupling pins (P1,P2,P3) are offset. A plurality of insulating sheets (40) are interleaved with the first and second planes, the coupling pins (P1,P2,P3) being bent so that they extend beyond corresponding side edges of the insulating sheets (40) to locations at which the coupling pins (P1,P2,P3) in each row of the first body portion (34) starting from one side of the coupling member (32) are connected to the coupling pins (P1,P2,P3) in the corresponding row of the second body portion (36) in reverse order with respect to the order of the pins in the corresponding row starting from said one side.</p> |
