PURPOSE:To enable the dispersion of zinc powder into a gelled electrolyte in the satisfactory state by adding a gelling agent to a water containing a fluorocarbon having ether bond followed by mixing, adding an alkali electrolyte thereto followed by stirring and mixing to provide a gelled electrolyte, and dispersing zinc powder into said electrolyte. CONSTITUTION:A gelling agent is added to and mixed with a water containing a fluorocarbon having an ether bond, then an alkali electrolyte is added thereto followed by stirring and mixing to obtain a gelled electrolyte, and zinc powder is dispersed to said gelled electrolyte. Namely, the fluorocarbon having the ether bond is a sort of surface active agents, and when the fine powder gelling agent is added to and mixed with the water containing this fluorocarbon and further the alkali electrolyte is added followed by stirring and mixing, the gelling agent is made easy to disperse in the alkali electrolyte by the action of the surface active agent. Hence, an uniform gelled electrolyte can be obtained in a short stirring process without generating. |
