APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING ACOUSTICAL MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To exactly and easily form the acoustical material in spite of its intricate shapes and to allow arbitrary changing of the density of mixtures composed of a resin and fibers by opening the mixtures and forming the mixtures so as to exist unequally on a laminated sheet of the mixtures at the prescribed patterns corresponding to the product shape, the hot molding the sheet. CONSTITUTION:The mixtures 42 composed of the resin and the fibers are opened by an equal amt. each by means of a roller 53 and a partition space 55. The falling rate of the mixtures 54 is limited by a guide plate 81 and the inside of a suction means 9 is divided by a partition plate 82. The suction intensities are set by each of the respective divided points to determine the degrees of suction so that the mixtures 54 falling onto a mesh belt 6 to exist unequally. The air in a chute 1 is then sucked by a suction means 9 to laminate the opened mixtures 54 composed of the resin and the fibers. The laminated mixtures 61 composed of the opened resin and fibers are transferred by the 2nd endless belt 10 and the laminated mixtures 61 are hot molded by a heating press device 113. The acoustical material is exactly and easily formed in this way even if the shape is intricate. Arbitrary changing of the density of the mixtures by the positions to be laminated is possible.
