Device comprising a needle assembly (4), consisting of a needle (15) and a needle carrier (6) coaxial thereto, as well as a needle placer (3) for mounting the needle assembly in operative connection onto the head (8) of e.g. an injection device. The needle placer comprises a first (1) and a second (2) sleeve for protectively and coaxially enveloping the needle assembly, and the first sleeve member is connected in a terminable manner to the needle assembly and is suitable to serve as a tool for mounting the needle assembly onto the head of the injection device. The first sleeve member (1) is at least partially displaceable within the second sleeve member (2) between a first, extracted position, in which the needle (5) is located entirely within the needle placer (3), and a second, retracted position, in which the needle protrudes from the outer end (7) of the second sleeve member, the outer end being remote from said first sleeve member, and the outer end (7) of the second sleeve member comprises means for positioning it onto means cooperating therewith and present on the head of the injection device. |
