Method for the specific detection and counting of microorganisms present in filterable samples, consisting in effecting a first coloration of the micro-organisms by means of a first colorant acting on dead cells, and effecting the fusion of the DNA of non colored cells, and then effecting a second coloration of the cells by means of a second colorant acting on the RNA and on the unmatched DNA to color it differently as compared to the dead cells. It is thus possible to morphologically classify and count all micrroorganisms present in a sample of filterable product. |
