PURPOSE:To obtain the silver halide photographic sensitive material for bright rooms with which distinctly printed out images are obtd. and which is improved in workability by incorporating a specific compd. into the photosensitive material. CONSTITUTION:The compd. expressed by general formula (I) is incorporated into the silver halide photographic sensitive material for bright rooms. In formula I, R1, R2, R4, R5 denote a hydrogen atom, halogen, nitro group, cyano group, 1 to 20C substd. or unsubstd. alkyl group, 6 to 20C substd. or unsubstd. aryl group, etc.; R3 denotes a hydrogen atom, 1 to 6C alkyl group; R6 denotes 1 to 20C substd. or unsubstd. alkyl group; X denotes -S-, -O-, etc., R<7>, R<8> denote 1 to 4C alkyl group; Y denotes -O-, -S-, -Te-.
