THERMOPLASTIC POLYMER COMPOSITION

A thermoplastic polymer composition contains a thermoplastic polymer having polar functional groups, and a block.graft copolymer. The block.graft copolymer comprises as the backbone portion a block copolymer consisting of blocks of a vinyl-substituted aromatic compound polymer and blocks of a conjugated diene compound polymer-and/or the hydrogenated product of said block copolymer. The copolymer comprises as the graft portion a radical disintegrative polymer. The copolymer is chemically modified with molecular units containing a functional group which will combine with or interact with said thermoplastic polymer. The compositions have improved flexibility, chemical resistance, oil resistance, impact resistance, moldability and elastomeric elasticity.
