PURPOSE: To obtain a compact shift resistor by dividing voltage lines into two groups of (n) lines respectively, connecting the electrode of respective groups to voltage lines of groups via the switching circuit of a resistor element for (n) phase drive of a sensor control electrode and switching between two voltage values every the voltage line. CONSTITUTION: An electric charge pocket is shifted within the sensor under control of a drive shift resistor SR via sensor control electrodes E1 -E4 . Gate electrodes of FET T1 -T4 of the SR are made to be one group, and a H/L level voltage is fed with conductors Q1 -Q4 of a clock pulse source CC. Source electrodes of FET T5 -T8 are made to be one group, and 2/10 V is switched and fed from a voltage source HV via conductors Vh1 -Vh4 . Source electrodes of T9 -T12 are made to be one group, and 0/8V is switched and fed from the voltage source LV via voltage lines V11 -V14 . Respective voltage generating sources CC, HV, LV are driven under control of a timing signal generator TG. By this constitution, a drive resistor having the minimum number of circuit element per one resistor element is obtained, and signal smear compensation is simply executed. |
