PURPOSE:To prevent a display picture from being disturbed by a sharp change in an output signal by allowing the input or output timing of a digital adjusting signal to synchronize with the blanking period of image display and outputting a digital adjusting signal within a blanking period. CONSTITUTION:An adjusting volume 1 generates a variable analog voltage and inputs the voltage to a digital adjusting device 10. The device 10 is constituted of an A/D converter 3, a digital processor 4, a timing shifting means 11, a D/A converter 5, and so on. The input timing of a digital adjusting input signal to an adjusting output signal forming part or the output timing of a digital adjusting output signal is allowed to synchronize with the blanking period of image display scanning by the means 11 and the output timing of an digital adjusting output signal is executed within the blanking period. Even if a sharp change is generated in an adjustment output, no band-like noise appears on the screen and the display screen is not disturbed. |
