PURPOSE:To prevent the vibration of an oil pan itself by clampingly fixing a lower case to the underside of a cylinder block with a plurality of oil-pan mounting bolts and floatingly supporting the oil pan on the underside thereof via an elastic member. CONSTITUTION:A lower case CL is clampingly fixed to the underside of a cylinder block BC with a plurality of oil-pan mounting bolts 18 rotatably supporting a crank shaft 3, while an oil pan P0 is floatingly supported on the underside of the lower case CL via an elastic member 12. Besides an elastic grommet, any member like an elastic plate, an elastic bush, etc. may be available for the elastic member 12, with the material being rubber, synthetic resin, etc. Thereby, the number of parts can be reduced while simplifying a bolt fastening operation and further, lowering noise caused by the vibration of the oil pan. |
