A tennis practice apparatus including a ball secured to a string The apparatus is essentially composed of a plurality of string members , a plurality of fastening members for the string members, and a frame body which is provided with the fastening members at first and second positions in the same plane and at a third position which is above those two positions. The three positions to which the fastening members are attached constitute the verteces of a triangle formed in a plane substantially perpendicular to the base portion of the frame body. The string members have a guide rope stretched between the fastening members at the first and second positions, and an elastic string which freely extends or contracts with one end secured to the fastening member at the third position and the other end slidably secured to the guide rope.
