PURPOSE:To form an excellent high-quality image even if plural driving power sources whose rated voltage values are different are individually connected by controlling a heating means so that the target temperature value of the surface of an image carrier may be held based on an output signal from a voltage decision means and an output signal from a temperature detection means. CONSTITUTION:A control means 1 controls the heating means 8 so that the target temperature value of the surface of the image carrier 9 may be held based on the output signal from the voltage decision means 14 for deciding what rated voltage value previously set corresponds to the voltage of the driving power source supplied to the heating means 8 and the output signal from the temperature detection means 6. Thus, an image flowing phenomenon which occurs by the lowering of the resistance value of the outer peripheral surface of the photosensitive drum 9 at the time of connecting the 100V/115V driving power sources and the overshoot of a drum heater 8 and the welding of developer on the photosensitive drum 9 at the time of connecting 200V/220V/240V driving power sources can be prevented, thereby forming the excellent and high-quality image. |
