PURPOSE:To allow decoloration in a manner so as not to generate stains of remaining colors by a development processing by incorporating specific compds. into emulsion layers or other hydrophilic colloidal layers. CONSTITUTION:At least one kind of the compds. expressed by the formula I are incorporated into the emulsion layers or other hydrophilic colloidal layers of the photosensitive material having at least one silver halide emulsion layers on a base. In the formula I, R1 to R3 denote a hydrogen atom or group which can be substd.; Y<1> denotes a cyano group, nitro group, etc.; n denotes 0 or 1. x1 denotes a bivalent combination group bonded to a carbon atom via a hetero atom of X1; m1 denotes 0 or 1; D denotes a dye for photography. The compds. are dissolved and eluted mainly by the hydroquinone, sulfite or alkali, etc., in a developing soln. when the layer including this compd. is subjected to the development processing. The coloration and contamination of the photographic image are obviated in this way. |
