This frame has a telescopic, articulated structure which allows easy and compact folding, which is achieved simply by unlocking the keeper which secures the unfolded, use position. Essentially, the frame comprises the seat framework which is connected at the back to a rod which slides via two superposed blocks, the upper one of which is integral with the front legs to which the rear legs are articulated at the bottom. In its front part, the seat framework is connected in an articulated manner to the aforesaid upper block by means of two arms, and the lower block is connected to the rear legs and to said arms by means of a pair of lateral compass-type devices. The hand rails where the back framework is articulated start from the seat framework. <IMAGE>
