PURPOSE:To splash a residual developing soln. and to improve the quality of images by blowing air by a blasting device upon ending of squeezing of the developing soln. remaining on a sheet or plate for plate making by upper and lower squeezing rollers. CONSTITUTION:The sheet S is developed while passing a developing mechanism 8. The sheet S wet with the developing soln. is subjected to squeezing of the developing soln. while the sheet is crimped and transported by the squeezing rollers 9a and 9b. The blasting device A which blasts air is provided atop the final end, i.e. rear end of the sheet S under transportation. The blasting device A is equipped with a blower which operates to blow and splash the developing soln. remaining on the surface of the sheet S and to prevent the concentration of the developing soln. by surface tension. The excess developing soln. does not, therefore, remain on the rear edge of the sheet S squeezed by the rollers 9a, 9b. The generation of stained parts on the image of the sheet is obviated in this way. |
