PURPOSE:To obtain a resin composition having high weld strength and suitable as interior and exterior parts for automobile, etc., by compounding specific amounts of a polyolefin, a polyphenylene ether resin, a polymer having a polymer chain of an alkenyl aromatic compound and an aliphatic hydrocarbon chain in the same molecule. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is produced by compounding (A) 20-77wt.% (preferably 30-50wt.%) of a polyolefin, (B) 20-77wt.% (preferably 30-50wt.%) of a polyphenylene ether resin [e.g., poly(2-dimethyl-1,4-phenylene) ether], (C) 2-50wt.% (preferably 10-20wt.%) of a polymer having (C1) 10-80wt.% of a polymer chain of an alkenyl aromatic compound and (C2) 20-90wt.% of an aliphatic hydrocarbon chain in the same molecule and (D) 1-25wt.% (preferably 4-15wt.%) of an olefin copolymer containing epoxy group.
