PURPOSE:To improve safety by providing the first and second energy control valves for interrupting D-range port of a manual valve and a port to a control oil chamber and communicating the second range port with the control oil chamber. CONSTITUTION:When the first and second solenoid valves S1, S2 are disconnected, in the third range of a manual shift lever, the first emergency control valve 5 communicates a port D6 with a port (b1) by supplying control pressure to a control oil chamber (a1) to switch the first to third shift levers 9-11, whereby line pressure is supplied to clutches C1, C3 and brakes B1, B2 to be put in the third speed state. In the second range, the first and third shift valves 9, 11 are bound to the lower half position through the valve 5, and the second emergency control valve 6 is switched to the communicating position with ports 22 and C1, whereby hydraulic servos C1, B1, B2 and B4 are connected to be put in the second speed state. Further, in the first range, the valve 5 is switched to the cutoff position from the ports D6 and (b1) and the valve 6 connects the hydraulic servos C1, B3, B4 similarly to the second range to be put in the first speed state. |
