PURPOSE:To increase the whole gas capacity and eliminate the problem of poor appearance by arranging a gas stay body between a back door and the car body, furnishing an aux. high pressure gas chamber at the back door or the car body, and putting this aux. gas chamber in communication with the gas stay body through a flexible tube. CONSTITUTION:An aux. high pressure gas chamber 7 provided separately from a gas stay body 5 is installed at the back door 3 or the car body 2, and the gas stay body 5 is put in communication with the aux. high pressure gas chamber 7 through a flexible tube 8. This enlarges gas capacity by a portion corresponding to the capacity of the aux. high pressure gas chamber 7 without requiring change in the dimensions of the gas stay body 5, to result in enhancement of the maneuvering easiness when the back door 3 is opened and closed. As connected through flexible tube 18, the aux. high pressure gas chamber 7 can be located in any desired place, for ex. inside the panel of the car body 2 or the back door 3 while only the gas stay body 5 part is exposed, which will prevent impairing fine appearance. |
