A finishing apparatus for welded portion of tank comprises a vertical column (1a), a horizontal guide rod (2), a movable device driven by a motor (27) through a chain (13), a pressing cylinder (7), a roller holder (9) secured to the end of a pressing rod of the cylinder, a finishing roller (10)(10a) of the roller holder, a horizontal and rotatable finishing die (17), where there is a supporting shaft (9) inserted in the vertical column through a thrust bearing (23) and a nut (22), curve and plane correction plates (20)(21) bolted to the horizontal finishing/correction die, and a connecting rod (19) between the horizontal guide rod and the horizontal correction die.
