摘要 PURPOSE:To make it possible to transmit a signal which is detected with a light receiving means provided in a turning part into a non-turning part with a simple constitution by providing a means for forming a pair of signals wherein a distance signal obtained with an operating means is added to the received light signal. CONSTITUTION:A turning part 31 is composed of a light emitting device 2, a light receiving device 3 and a processing part 4 for input/output signals of the devices 2 and 3. In a signal synthesizing part 4b of the processing part 4, the following signals are synthesized as a pair of signals: the light receiving timing of a received light signal for operating the distance between a self-advancing vehicle and a reflector 6 and an opening angle between the reflectors 6 viewed from the self-propelled vehicle at a light receiving timing; and the distance signal obtained based on the phase difference between an emitted light beam and a received light beam. The synthesized signals are inputted into a distance detector 8 in a non-turning part 23 through one transmission path. The distance and the opening angle between the self-propelled vehicle and the reflectors 6 are computed. Therefore, the data transmission path between the turning part 31 and the non-turning part 23 is saved, and the transmission system is simplified.
