It comprises protection elements for components at risk on account of excess intensities or excess voltages, and also inductive elements and resistive elements which are designed to function by pulses and which can be connected and disconnected; associated with an inductive element 1 are resistance elements R1/R2 which create a reference voltage within whose provided voltage interval the inductive element 1 is connected, whilst the latter is disconnected outside said interval. The invention is useful for screening electromagnets, printing needles (pointers, styli) and other electrical receiving elements of printers in the event of the passage of destructive voltages or currents. <IMAGE>
