PURPOSE:To inexpensively and easily form a material suitable for a disposable sanitary article such as a paper diaper by molding an annular raw film having thick wall parts by an inflation method and forming the same into a flat shape so that the thick wall pats are substantially positioned at both end parts and grasping the thick wall parts to stretch the film. CONSTITUTION:The annular raw film 12 having thick wall parts 12A, 12A molded by the inflation die 11 of an inflation molding apparatus 1 is folded by take-up rolls 14, 14 so as to be formed into a flat shape. Then, the flat film 12 is preheated to a proper temp. by preheating rolls 2, 2 and monoaxially stretched in the longitudinal direction between low speed nip rolls 3, 3 and high speed nip rolls 4, 4 to be cooled by a cooling roll 5. Continuously, the flat film 12 is introduced into the clips 64A, 64A of the grasping part of a tenter stretching apparatus 6 and subsequently heated to temp. suitable for stretching by a preheating part 61 in such a state that the thick wall parts 12A, 12A of the film 12 are grasped by the clips 64A, 64A and laterally stretched in such a state that both ends of the film are grasped by the clips 64A, 64A of a stretching part 62. |
