PURPOSE:To provide cost reduction, etc. by setting two stages of reference load and correction load and deforming plastically a shaft-shaped member until the required correction load is attained after the reference load is applied thereto. CONSTITUTION:A receiving base 10 of the shaft-shaped member 9 is provided on a supporting base 8 and a rotating and indexing device 11 which rotates the member 9 and indexes the run-out part is disposed. A deflection measuring element 12 is further attached to the base 8 and a runout measuring element 13 is installed on the rear side of the member 9. The member is disposed in the position where the runout indexed by the element 134 is maximum. A ram 6 presses the member 9 and stabilizes the attitude thereof under the low reference load. The element 12 is set at zero and the oil pressure is changed over to the correction load. The member 9 is corrected by the ram 6. Since the influence of the foreign matter is removed by the addition of the reference load by the above-mentioned, the correction is made accurate. The cost is thus reduced and the deterioration of the quality is prevented. |
