SANDWICH PREPARATION AND STORAGE CONTAINER SET

A sandwich preparation and storage container comprises a main body (12), a cover (14) and an insert disc (16). The main body having a cylindrical wall (20) and a partial bottom wall (30) is formed in a cylindrical cap which has a central hole (34) in its bottom wall. The base is lined with the removable insert disc, which covers the hole and conforms closely to the internal contour of the bottom wall. The open top of the cup is then sealed with the cover which fits on the rim (21) of the cup. Pref. the cups can be nested, the base of each cup fitting like a cover on a cup below so that only the top cup of a stack requires a separate cover. Pref. the internal face of the base of the cup is concave and the underside of the insert disc is corresp. domed.
