PURPOSE:To manufacture an artificial tooth with less sense of incongruity by displaying the color picture of a neighboring booth and the color picture of a color specimen on a color picture displaying means, and deciding the tooth color of the neighboring tooth. CONSTITUTION:The color information of the color specimen of the tooth is stored beforehand in a floppy disk 13. The neighboring tooth of the artificial tooth to be manufactured is photographed by a camera 11 while the inside of the mouth is illuminated while keeping a state that shielded space 19 in which a high color rendering fluorescent lamp 16 is made to indwell between the mouth of a patient and the color camera 11 is interposed. Then, the color picture 17 of the neighboring tooth is displayed on a color CRT 12, and the tooth color of the neighboring tooth is decided. Thus, data effective to a dental technician can be given, and the artificial tooth with less sense of incongruity can be manufactured. |
