Catadioptric device DC intended to deflect a light beam 3 through a predetermined angle along a broken optical axis a-b and to focus this optical beam onto a predetermined image plane 5, this device including means 7b defining a plane optical total-reflection surface, one point c of which coincides with the point of inflection of the said axis a-b and means 7a, 7c defining optical surfaces for focusing the said beam, the device being characterised in that the said focusing surfaces S1, S3 are convergent optical surfaces placed in the said optical path, respectively on either side of the said total-reflection surface S2, and in that the said total-reflection surface S2 as well as the said convergent surfaces S1, S3 are made in a single monolithic body 7 produced from an optical material. <IMAGE>
