发明名称 PRODUCTION OF POROUS SPHERICAL GLASS
摘要 PURPOSE:To readily provide porous spherical glass having excellent alkali- resistance and a large average pore size by hydrolyzing the complex compound of a Zr alkoxide with a Si alkoxide to form a colloid solution, separating a powder from the colloid solution and subsequently heating the separated powder. CONSTITUTION:Porous spherical glass is formed by the following processes (a)-(d). (a) A process for producing a metal alkoxide complex compound by adding a Si alkoxide to a solution prepared by homogeneously mixing a Zr alkoxide with a formamide derivative, (b) a process for converting the prepared solution into an alkaline solution to hydrolyze the complex compound to give a colloid solution, (c) a process for separating a powder from the colloid solution and (d) a process for heating the prepared powder at 400-900 deg.C. The porous spherical glass obtained by the above-mentioned processes comprises ZrO2 and SiO2 and has an average particle size of approximately 1-100mum and fine pours having an average diameter of 100-400Angstrom .
