PURPOSE:To eliminate puncture defects completely during aging treatment in capacitor manufacturing or during high load test by applying slit processing in specified width to a compound foil, and then pressing this slit foil with a roller, and further doing brushing, and removing, by suction, aluminum powder which is eliminated by this brushing. CONSTITUTION:An aluminum compound foil 1 which is applied with etching treatment and conversion treatment is cut in specified width with upper and lower cutters 2 and 3, and burn projections 4 which are generated at this time are crushed while they are passing between upper and lower rollers 5 and 6. Next, aluminum chips are removed with upper and lower rotary brushes 7 and 8, and those chips are covered with a hood 9, and are eliminated from an exhaust port 10 with an exhaust device. Thereafter, it is wound in roll shape with a winder. Hereby, puncture defects and short defects which occurred during manufacturing of an aluminum capacitor in the past are prevented, and reliability improves. |
