The invention relates to a flexible masking material which is provided with holes or openings and also has preferably different-coloured and/or different-patterned areas for achieving a camouflage effect, and which material comprises a first layer and a second layer, which two layers are bonded to one another by means of, for example, an adhesive and form two opposite outer layers provided with patterns, in addition to which at least one further layer, for example for reinforcing purposes, is arranged between said first and second layers. The invention is characterized by this combination: a) the first and second layers 10 and 11 forming part of the masking material consist of paper, b) the different-coloured and/or different-patterned areas for the camouflage effect are arranged on those sides of the layers 10 and 11 facing away from one another by printing, c) the perforation or the like of the masking material is carried out by cracking or crushing the material in all or selected areas which are free of reinforcing material. <IMAGE> |
