The invention relates to a device for holding in position one end of an element which is rotationally driven by a fluid flowing in a tube 12, this device being of the type comprising a member 1 forming a bearing, capable of being rigidly secured to one end of the tube, and an element mounted so that it can rotate freely with respect to the member 1 forming a bearing and capable of being secured to one end of the movable element 13. According to the invention, a rigid structure 20 fixed to the bearing 1 outside the tube 12 forms a support for a first fixed stop piece 26 arranged substantially opposite the opening 7 of the central part 3 of the bearing 1 in the extension of the rod 6, and the opening 7 is bordered by a second fixed stop piece 25 on the outer face of the central part 3 of the bearing, the portion of the rod 6 projectng through the said opening 7 to the outside of the bearing 1 comprising a part or member projecting laterally and forming a movable stop piece 27 which is secured, in displacement, to the rod. <IMAGE>
