<p>PURPOSE:To adsorb impurities contained in a waste polyol liquor by an activated clay and to regenerate said waste liquor by bringing an activated clay from which water is removed and which is impregnated with methylene chloride into contact with the waste liquor at a specified temp. CONSTITUTION:An activated clay impregnated with methylene chloride is formed by removing water from an activated clay and then impregnating it with methylene chloride. Said impregnated clay is brought into contact with a waste polyol liquor from which low-boiling substances contained therein have been removed by heating pref. at 60-80 deg.C and large solids have been removed by filtering, etc., and which, for example, is generated in such processes as molding of polyurethane, at 110-130 deg.C and impurities (e.g., water, amine, etc.) in said waste liquor are adsorbed by the activated clay and removed from said waste liquor to regenerate said waste liquor.</p> |
