摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To reduce the load of a person to be measured and to continuously measure blood pressure by automatically correcting the irregularity of the DC level of a photoelectric volume pulse wave due to the indivisual difference in the thickness of a finger or the shift of a finger inserting position to measure blood pressure using the finger. CONSTITUTION:The pressure applied to a finger detected by the pressure detection part 20 connected to a chamber 15 is inputted to the first signal processing part 2 as a pressure signal V3. A transmitted light mean value order signal V1 is raised in such a state that a switching device 36 is turned OFF and fixed to certain low pressure. The output V2 of a reversal amplifier 22 is fixed so as to reach a certain level. When the transmitted light mean value order signal V1 is raised gradually, the vibration component synchronous to the pulse of the pressure signal V3 increases to reach a peak at a certain pressure point and decreases thereafter. When the transmitted light mean value order signal V1 is fixed to the point where the vibration component of the pressure signal V3 becomes max. and the switching device 36 is turned ON to control pressure so that the AC component of transmitted light becomes zero, the maximal blood pressure can be continuously obtained from the max. value of the pressure signal V3 and the minimal blood pressure can be continuously obtained from the min. value thereof.</p>
