PURPOSE:To prevent an etching area formed in vulcanization from generating rubber flow by providing ridge molding curved sections sectioning an etching process area on a molded surface of a side wall section of a mold. CONSTITUTION:As an etching section 3 formed on a side wall section 1 of a tire is divided with two ridges R and R', a high contrast is formed by said etching and also difference of reflection of light generated by means of a boundary of ridges R and R'. Ridge molding curved sections O and O' are formed on a mold M section by making the surface inclined angles of the mold, and a photosensitive resin film F is fixed by pressure between said curved sections. Ultraviolet rays are irradiated to the photosensitive resin film F and unprinted sections are cured, and the printed sections such as uncured pattern or the like are removed by a solvent or the like, and then mold surfaces corresponing with the printed sections such as pattern and the like removed by the solvent or the like are corroded with strong acid to manufacture a mold. As rubber flow is not generated in green rubber during vulcanizing, said ridge molding curved sections are free from a crack generated by impurities or the like. |
