PURPOSE:To automate difficult base chord progression entirely and to enable even a beginner to easily play an accompaniment by specifying the kind of a chord sound generated with a chord pattern according to chord progression data and the interval of a bass sound generated with a bass pattern. CONSTITUTION:A chord progression storage means 107 is stored with the chord progression data which specifies the chord progression previously. This chord progression data is used to specify not only chord kinds and a bass interval, but also how long each kind of chord is sounded. Then a CPU 101 controls a melody sound generation part 109, an accompaniment sound generation part 110, and a rhythm sound generation part 111 according to the chord progression data to generate a musical sound through a sound system 112. Consequently, the difficult bass chord progression is automated entirely, so even the beginner can easily utilize the automatic accompaniment. |
