PURPOSE:To prevent an air-conditioning feeling from being deteriorated, by making it possible to freely vary a desired temperature even while a blower is stopped, and also to automatically set a desired temperature, at the restart of the blower, to the value set just before the last stoppage of the blower. CONSTITUTION:An air conditioner has a vehicle-room temperature sensor 1 for detecting temperature in the room of a vehicle, a blower 2 for blowing 2 for blowing air into the room, a blower switch 3 for ordering start and stoppage of the blower 2, a temperature setting device 4 for setting a desired temperature in the room regardless of the operating position of the blower switch 3, and a temperature controller 5 for controlling the temperature of the air blowed into the room by the blower 2. A controller 6 controls the amount of control by the temperature controller 5 so that the vehicle-room temperature detected by the temperature sensor 1 becomes its desired value set by the temperature setting device 4. In this case, memorizing means 7 is provided for memorizing a desired temperature set just before shifting operation of the blower switch 3 from its on-position to off-position. When the blower switch 3, which is then located in its off-position by the above operation, is operated so that it is shifted to its on-position, resetting means 8 resets the value memorized by the memorizing means 7 as a new desired temperature. |
