PURPOSE:To obtain the optical memory body which is enhanced in the weatherability by forming an adhesive layer of calcium fluoride as its one constituting component and successively forming at least the adhesive layer and a reflecting film consisting of gold on a substrate. CONSTITUTION:The surface of the substrate 1 is coated with the material contg. at least the calcium fluoride by a high-frequency magnetron sputtering method, ion plating method, plasma CVD method, etc., to form the adhesive layer 2. The surface of the adhesive layer 2 is then coated with the gold by a high-frequency magnetron sputtering method, ion plating method, CVD method, etc., to form the reflecting film 3. Further, a protective film 4 consisting of various resins, etc., is formed on the reflecting film 3 at need. The calcium fluoride to be incorporated into the adhesive layer 2 has the high adhesiveness to both of the gold and the substrate 1 and has excellent corrosion resistance as well. The optical memory body having the high reliability is obtd. in this way without peeling of the gold reflecting film from the substrate. |
