<p>PURPOSE:To widen the application range, and also, to improve the measurement accuracy by measuring a distance from a time difference of a pattern of a time series of a multiplied value of plural pseudo random signals, and a signal to be detected obtained by multiplying a receiving signal and plural pseudo random signals. CONSTITUTION:Pseudo random signal generators 3, 4 output pseudo random signals M1, M2 which have the same pattern and whose frequencies are a little different, and a multiplier 6 multiplies a carrier wave inputted from a distributor 13 and the signal M1, and radiates them to a target 25 through an antenna 23 from a transmitter 21. A multiplier 7 multiplies a receiving signal from a receiver 22 and the signals M2, multipliers 8, 9 output signals to be detected I . R1, Q . R2 and a pulsative detecting signal is supplied to a time measuring instrument 18 from an adder 17. On the other hand, the signals M1, M2 inputted to a multiplier 5 are multiplied, and a pulsative signal which becomes a reference signal of time is supplied to the time measuring instrument 18 from an LPF 10. The time measuring instrument 18 detects the generation time of the maximum value of the reference signal and the maximum value of the detecting signal, and measures a distance to a target 25.</p> |
