The cooking device has a heating chamber for takeup of the victuals to be heated with which there is associated a digital indicator unit for the net weight in absolute values. On an analog indicator unit, in a first mode of operation, there is indication of the overall weight of the container and victuals. In a second mode of operation, the heating temperature of the heating chamber is indicated. A microcomputer having a CPU is provided. There can be a store with selective access indicated as a RAM.
