PURPOSE:To enable the obtaining of both of a fluoroscopic image and tomographic image without altering a shape of a section to be irradiated with X rays which are made to irradiate a test specimen by contriving the way of picking up a TV video signal obtained from an X-ray camera. CONSTITUTION:First, a sample 2 is irradiated with X rays to project a fluoroscopic image on a monitoring screen 7 of a fluoroscopic image display device 7. Here, the sample 2 is moved in the direction of the arrow 32 so that a sample image 72 is positioned at the vertical center of the monitoring screen 71. Furthermore, the sample 2 is moved in the direction of the arrow 31 so that a defect 73 inside the sample appears on the monitoring screen 71. The fluoroscopic image thus obtained makes it clear at which position the defect 73 exists. Then, a vertical scan line 74 traversing the defect 73 is selected to make a section to be taken tomographically. The scan line 74 can be selected with a keyboard or a mouse attached to a fluoroscopic image display device 7. This enables the obtaining of both of a fluoroscopic image and a tomographic image without altering a shape of a section to be irradiated with X rays which are made to irradiate a test specimen. |
