PURPOSE:To prevent dirty material from accumulating at the point of a nozzle and to work at a sound atmosphere by irradiating a laser beam from a nozzle, injecting assistant gas and providing an assistant gas injecting hole and a smoke collecting tube enclosing the injecting hole. CONSTITUTION:When the surface of the work W is shielded and carved while assistant gas is injected from both a laser beam irradiating hole 7 and a laser beam injecting hole 11, the dirty material generated at a working position of a condensing point is removed by the injection of gas to the side. At this time, since the assistant gas is injected from the injecting hole 11 toward the point of the nozzle, the dirty material does not come flying to this part, does not adhere to the point and does not accumulate there. As a result, defect of a product caused by a dirty nozzle head can be solved. Further, scattered material removed to the side is sucked from a smoke adsorption hole 15 into a smoke collection tube 14 and treated in an exhaust tube 16 and, consequently, the work environment can be kept sound. By this method, damage of the product by the dirty material can be minimized and human problems by exhaust smoke are not caused. |
