PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition, having flame retardance excellent in nondripping properties and light diffusivity and suitable as backlight of liquid crystal displays by blending a polycarbonate resin composition containing fine powdery calcium carbonate, etc., dispersed therein with specific amounts of a metal salt of a specified organic phosphoric acid ester, etc. CONSTITUTION:A resin composition obtained by dispersing (D) 0.001-5 pts.-wt., preferably 0.005-2 pts.wt. one or more of metal salts of organic phosphoric acid esters expressed by the formula [R1 and R2 are (halogen-substituted) alkyl or aryl group) M is alkaline metal] and (E) 0.01-2 pts.wt., preferably 0.05.1 pt.wt. polytetrafluoroethylene having the ability to form fibrils in 100 pts.wt. resin composition, consisting of (A) 60-99wt.% polycarbonate resin, (B) 1-20wt.% fine powdery calcium carbonate and (C) short glass fibers. The total amount of the components (B) and (C) is <=40wt.%. |
