<p>Serving to cover the open top of a large container, for example, is a covering which consists of a number of flat individual bearing elements (1) serving for reinforcement and of a common flexible wrapping (2) which covers these bearing elements (1) at least on one side. The spacing of the bearing elements (1) is dimensioned to be at least so large that it permits section-wise folding of the wrapping (2) together with the bearing elements (1) fastened to it. The bearing elements (1) preferably consist of skeleton frames and are inserted in pockets in the wrapping (2), which pockets are formed, for example, by the two folded-over edge regions (3) of the wrapping (2). <IMAGE></p> |
