PURPOSE:To facilitate the management of information for kinds of each transmitter and the relation of connection between the transmitters by recognizing a transmission line having a fault based on the information relating to the transmitter opposite from each of plural transmitter at the detection of a line fault. CONSTITUTION:Transmitters 1i-1k are connected by transmission lines 2a-2k and if any fault takes place in the transmission line, it is detected as a line fault, and a centralized supervisory section 4 supervises the detecting state of the line fault to recognize the production of a fault in the transmission lines 2a-2k. The plural transmitters 1i-1k have respectively with opposite station information setting sections 3i-3k able to set the information relating to the opposite transmitter via the transmission lines 2a-2k. The central monitor section 4 in the event of detection the line fault, recognizes the transmission line with a fault based on the information relating to the opposite transmitter from each of the plural transmitters 1i-1k. Thus, the information for the kind of each transmitter and the relation of connection between the transmitters is easily and surely managed. |
