PURPOSE:To obtain a highly porous substrate with strength kept by preparing slurry by mixing water, metal powder, a thickening agent, and plasticizer for the thickening agent, applying the slurry to a conductive core, drying to form a coated sheet, and sintering the coated sheet. CONSTITUTION:Slurry is prepared by mixing water, metal powder, a thickening agent, and plasticizer for the thickening agent, and applied to a conductive core, then dried to form a coated sheet. The coated sheet is sintered to manufacture a sintered substrate. By adding plasticizer together with the thickening agent, the plasticity of the thickening agent is increased. The softness of the coated sheet is increased and adhesion of the metal powder to the conductive core is also increased. By adding the thickening agent, the porosity of the coated sheet is increased. |
