PURPOSE:To delete the number of steps of peeling a laminated ceramic sintered material and the number of steps of forming an insulator, and to improve the quality of a component by forming the insulator before the sintered material is removed from a dumping plate. CONSTITUTION:A masking material 12 is applied to the upper face 5a of a laminated ceramic sintered material 5 of an electrostrictive material sheet 1 and an inner electrode conductor 2 on which a pair of outer electrodes 4 for forming two pectinated electrodes are mounted at a layer of glass insulator 3 on the side faces of the conductor 2 and the end face thereof, and secured to a disposable plate 7. Then, a cutting seam is formed on the plate 7 by a wire 11, and a deep cutting seam 10 is formed except a margin 8. After the material 5 is cleaned, it is coated with epoxy resin 13, the resin 13 is further cured, the material 5 is then removed from the plate 7, and the material 12 is removed. Then, the margin 8 is cracked to isolate an electrostrictive effect element 9. |
