<p>The invention relates to a storage container for recording media for installation in motor vehicles, comprising a housing assembly with a plurality of holders for at least one recording medium, by means of which the recording media can be transported out of the housing assembly into a convenient position for removal and which each have a front wall for covering the storage chambers of the housing assembly. To be able to insert and remove the recording medium even in the dark without requiring attention for a prolonged period for this purpose, the housing assembly has an electrical connection to the motor vehicle's electrical system in order to supply a light source arrangement, by means of which, when holders have been pushed home in the housing assembly, at least one partial area of the front wall thereof is able to be illuminated so as to be visible from the outside, feed outlets for each holder being so arranged in the housing assembly that they are in transmission contact with feed inlets of the holders when these have been pushed home in the housing assembly.</p> |
