PURPOSE:To improve electrostatic characteristics of an electrophotographic sensitive body and to enable faithful reproduction of reproduced picture to an original picture by incorporating a specified resin into a binder resin of a photoconductive layer. CONSTITUTION:In the title electrophotographic sensitive body, at least a kind of resin A and at least a kind of resin B are contained in the binder resin. The resin A has 1X10<3>-3X10<4> weight average mol.wt. and at least one kind of substituent among -PO3H2, -SO3H, -COOH, -SH, etc., an acidic group such as phenolic OH, and groups contg. cyclic anhydride, is(are) bonded to terminals of a polymer main chain. The resin B has >=5X10<4> weight average mol. wt., contains a recurrent unit expressed by the formula I as a component of the polymer, and has a crosslinked structure. In the formula I, T is -COO-, -OCO-, etc., V is a 1-22C hydrocarbon group, each a1 and a2 is an H atom, cyano group, etc. Thus, electrostatic characteristics, holding capacity for dark charge and photosensitivity, are particularly improved, and faithful reproduction of copied picture to an original picture has become possible. |
