PURPOSE:To improve safety upon starting by a method wherein a starting safety switch means, put ON only when a transmission is in a predetermined speed stage used under unmanned mode, is provided in a remote starting circuit comprising a receiver operating a starter motor. CONSTITUTION:In the device operated in a condition that the transmission is fixed at the first speed thereof under the unmanned mode, the starting button of a transmitting device is pushed to start the engine in case the engine is started under the unmanned mode. Then, the normally opened switch 22 of the starting safety switch means 18, provided on a lever member 28 connected to the transmission through a connecting rod 30, is put ON (when the transmission is set in the first speed) and a magnet switch 10 is excited under a condition that the transmission is in neutral and a safety switch 32 is put ON. According to this operation, a contact 10R is put ON, a starter motor 4 is operated and the engine 2 is started. |
